Website Sales Experience - Trustworthiness and Reliability of this website

We have been selling gifts online for over 10 years.

We have worked in retail for 25 years and owned a retail store in Taupo for over 10 years.

We have a retail store at 7 Starlight Arcade, Taupo, NZ, and are open normal retail hours.
As it is a small shop we also have a storage facility so not all the product on this website can be found instore.

Payment Security

Is your website safe to purchase off? Yes

What Credit Cards do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and JCB Cards through Paypal.

Credit Cards - your privacy and security are very important so we use the Paypal payment facility.
This payment facility is specifically designed for professioanl websites and all credit card details
go through this service, so we do not get to view any of your personal credit card details.

Do I need an account with Paypal to process my credit card payment? NO!
If you do not have a paypal account just enter your credit cards details manually.

What will appear on my statement

Our trading name "The Gift Box" will appear on your statement


How to Buy

Simply click on the add to basket button,
(once you have finished shopping)
adjust quanities if needed,
select the appropriate freight option,
add your payment and delivery details,
click submit
and your order is placed.


Currency Conversion
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars - NZD,
to convert to your currency, click the Currency Converter Button on the top right of any page.


GST
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and Include GST

Gift Wrapping
Gift wrapping is a free service and also comes with a complimentary gift card.

If you would like your parcel gift wrapped select gift wrapping at the shopping cart
and put your card message in the comments section of the shopping cart.


Delivery Address
Please double check your delivery address and make sure it is all listed and correct.
If an address is supplied with incorrect information and the parcel is sent, this may cause a delay
on the arrival of your parcel, or your parcel might be sent back to us.
In this case you will be recharged the cost of freight to resend your parcel.

Cancellations
If you would like to cancel an order please email us as soon as possible.
We will let you know if the order has been shipped.

If the order has not yet been shipped you will be refunded in full including the cost of shipping.

If the order has already been shipped, the item(s) can be returned as per the following
Returns Policy conditions. (see returns policy below for conditions)

(This means you will need to return the item(s) to our store at your cost,
and you will only be refunded the price of the items, not including the original shipping amount)



Returns Policy and Conditions
You may return any item(s) purchased within 14 days of delivery of your purchase.

The following conditions apply:

The item(s) are in as new condition and undamaged and include all original packaging, parts, and accessories

The original reciept is included

We will not accept returns of opened, or damaged items, or items (recieved by us) more than 14 days after delivery.

The cost of shipping item(s) for return is the responsibility of the purchaser. (unless it is the result of our error)

The original cost of shipping the item(s) to you will not be refunded. (unless it is the result of our error)
